Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary made his first visit to his ancestral village Lakhanpur under the Tarapur Assembly constituency he represents on Sunday (April 26, 2026) after assuming office.
At a public meeting in Munger, Mr. Choudhary warned against redtapism and said strict action would be taken against any official who withholds files for more than one month. He further said that his government’s aim is to ensure that basic amenities reach the household of every resident of Bihar and that government services are easily accessible to all.
