If necessary, the Tamil Nadu will seek legal disability if necessary to obtain the approval of the governor to a resolution conducted by the college in memory of the former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in Kumbakonam, Minister of University Minister Govi. Chezhiaan said on Monday.
Chezhiaan spoke at the publishing event in its official residence and said that he and the Minister of Higher education searched for a meeting with the governor to discuss this problem but did not receive an answer. “If the consent is not soon granted, CM has already said that we will turn to the court and seek consent,” he told reporters.
He said that the state government tried to contact the governor by phone and wrote him, but there was no answer. “The reason is that he throws himself when he hears the name Kalaignara or Tamil or Semmozhi. People Tamil knows about this qualities well.” He recalled that the Supreme Court has already set instructions for the Governor’s steps on the basis of the case filed by Tamil Nadu.
