Congress on Wednesday (June 11, 2025) asked whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met members of seven parliamentary delegations sent abroad, now agrees with a complete debate at the Post-Pahalgam Security and Foreign Policy.
The opposition party also asked whether Prime Minister Modi would chair a meeting or set of meetings of all political parties and will take them into confidence in the future Indian future strategy towards China and Pakistan.
PM Modi on Tuesday (June 10, 2025) hosted members of delegations with multiple parties that included deputies and former diplomats who have traveled to various world capitals in the last few weeks to mediate India’s message on the need to eradicate the threat of terrorism after attack and Sindoor.

His remarks concerned the comments of the Chief of Defense chief (CDS) Gen Anil Chauhan in Singapore that India rectified tactics and hit deep inside Pakistan’s territory after suffering losses of aircraft in recent military clashes with Pakistan. He also rejected Islamabad as a “absolutely wrong” assertion of the shooting of six Indian nozzles.
Mr. Ramesh also asked whether the Prime Minister would agree on a complete debate at the upcoming monsoon meeting on Post-Pahalgam’s security and foreign political challenges, because unfortunately the request of the Indian parties for a special meeting was unfortunately rejected.

He also asked whether the Prime Minister would double his efforts to make Terrorists Pahalgam, who allegedly participated in the three earlier terrorist attacks in Poonch (December 2023), and Gagangir and Gulmarg (2024).
Mr. Ramesh also asked whether a group of experts like the Kargil Review Committee, chaired by the Minister of the External Affairs S. Jaishankar, Father K. Subrahmanyam, will be established for detailed analysis of the Sindoor operation and will provide his recommendations on the future of war, including emerging military platforms and technologies and building national capacities.
“Will there be a message – after suitable editors – placed in parliament, such as the Kargil Review Message, which was in February 2000?” Mr. Ramesh said.

The government sent more parties to the delegations of the national unity in the fight against terrorism, while the deputy of the congress Shashi Tharoor and Aimim Asaduddin Owaisi joined the members of the ruling alliance in promoting Indian affairs abroad.
Among the leading former deputies in delegations were former ministers of the Ghulam Nabi unit AZAD and Salman Khurshid.
Congress also urged the government to clarify the claims of US President Donald Trump to mediate the ceasefire between India and Pakistan and object to his linking India and Pakistan.
The government argued that the problems between India and Pakistan would be solved bilaterally and without any third -party intervention.
