Indian coach of Sithanshu Kothak Chat explained to a tea chat that Yashavi Jaiswal had with Yashavi Jaiswal during his incredible knocking on the day of the first second test in Delhi on Friday, October 10. Jaiswal, who missed during the first test, changed as he, how he scored his seventh test and remained undefeated at 173.
That was the fifth time the southern trail scored a hundred and made him 150 or more scores. Kothak said at a press conference that he was impressed by the determination that Jaiswal showed during his knocking. Indian coach Batting said that Jaiswal said he felt during the shifts not to play a bad shot because he felt that he was missing in Ahmedabad.
“For me, I think the determination he showed was important. The new ball came to the bat well. The second fifty, who also did at a good pace, but I felt that after 60-65 crossing the old ball was not coming to the bat.”
“So I think he took a lot of time, and there was no bad shot. And the same thing he also told me in tea, so he shows that he felt the last match that he missed big shifts. So I think it was brilliant,” Kothak said.
Determined to play a big knocking
Kothak continued to say that the way Jaiswal adapted to the conditions was impressive and claimed that the Indian opener was determined to play big shifts.
“I feel we all know that he is very aggressive, and likes to score quickly. 175.”
“So it shows how good he fired. And choosing shots, I think players like him or any player at this level obviously see the conditions, see the goal, see a reflection, look at the pitch and then focus on the area. So I think he did great today,” Kothak said.
Jaiswal’s shifts helped India after 318 for two at the end of the day one of the other test.
