Congress activists Karshaka, who were looking for more field -level events, carried out a march to the Thamarassery Forest Range on Monday on Monday 28th.
Demonstrators who locked corners with the police and crossed the barricade claimed that the upper farmers faced a huge crisis due to poor measures to alleviate the conflict with the human animal.
They also claimed that the disabled farmers did not even receive a reasonable replacement for the loss of crops. The vehicle on the state highway was blocked for more than half an hour, because the agitators burned the Minister of Ak Sasendran in a portrait.
The Thamarassery police said they reserved 11 protesters who led agitation, leading to damage to public real estate worth 18 000 GBP. They were accused according to various parts of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit, Kerala Police Act – 2011 and prevention of damage to the Public Property Act – 1984, the police said.
