Is Kohl and Dhoni criticism justified?
Captain Pandjab Kings Shreyas Iyer played undefeated knocking 97 from only 42 balls and on Tuesday he led his team on a massive 243/5 against Gujaratian Titans.
In the finals, his partner Shashank Singh went to the border hit and scored 44 not of 16 balls.
Although Iyer was on the brink of his first century IPL, he did not request a strike and instead encouraged Shashank to continue the attack.

On the other hand, two old cases including RCB Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni CSK appeared and painted in a less flattering light.
In the old game IPL, Kohli detonated 96 in 19th. His partner, Marcus Stoinis, tried two, but was sent back Kohli, who managed only one.
This decision increased the eyebrows because many believed that it focused more on achieving its hundreds than maximizing team runs.
