Company against fake visa and passport agents
A week ago, the branch of the police crime in Delhi registered companies against several agents of the visa and passport, especially working from Panjab and Haryana, according to the complaint of the US embassy, according to an official statement. The case was filed on 27 February.
In a complaint, a representative of the US Embassy in Nový Dilli emphasized the fraudulent activities of visa agents.
The complaint stated that these agents, known and unknown, participated in the submission of false information in applications for a visa in the US and the provision of false documents to applicants. Agents allegedly tried to cheat on the US embassy and the US government to obtain visas with fraudulent means.
The complaint also stated: “During the period from May to August 2024, our office made a relevant investigation and compiled a comprehensive list of individuals associated with several IP addresses, suspected of being linked to visa consultants, documents suppliers (education certificate, bank documents and employment certificates), education and education consultants.”

H1-B visa
Employers and representatives must use an online account from US civil and immigration services (USCIS) to register H-1B visa. Initial Registration for H-1B visa visa for the fiscal year 2026 was recently closed 24 March.
Visas H-B1 and H-B2, designed for tourists and businesses, have seen significant pending items in recent years. The waiting time ranged from 800 to 1,000 working days in 2022-23.
In 2022, the Minister of External Affairs Jaishankar raised concerns about delayed visa with US Foreign Minister Antony Blinten, who credited the pending pandemia Covid-19.
US VISA RETROGRESE
The US Foreign Ministry on March 11 issued a visa bulletin in April 2025 and announced important updates about employee (EB) for immigrants visa categories. According to the bulletin, India will face a two-year retrogres in the unrealistic EB-5 category.
Retrogres Visa occurs when the US Foreign Ministry moves the priority data that determines the availability of visas instead of ahead in the visa bulletin, causing delayed green card applicants.
In principle, retrogres visa means that applicants have to wait longer than they ask for the green card. Although it is only temporary, it significantly extends the waiting time.
