Congress on Sunday (June 8, 2025), who maintained his attack on the election commission and the party Bharatiya Janata (BJP), accused the ruling party of the answer called the panel.
“The Congress Party, especially Rahul Gandhi, raised questions about the way the election process (2024) was carried out (in the Maharashtra) and the fairness of electoral roles. He said very simple demand-made these electoral roles available for various electoral digital format,” he said. These were the direct and legitimate requirements of the political party in a democratic setting, said the General Secretary of the Congress (Communications) Jairam Ramesh.
“Why does JP Nadda (President BJP and Minister of Health) correspond to on behalf of the Election Commission? Why why communication of the Election Commission through Mr. Nada? To be independent, to observe the constitution, be transparent and speak through Mr. Naddy,” Ramesh said.
Indictment
His answer comes the day after the leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi claimed in the National Newspaper article that the elections to the Maharashtra Assembly held in November 2024 were “manipulated” and the same could happen in the upcoming Bihar Assembly survey.
In the X, Mr. Gandhi, Mr. Gandhi shared his article published in the newspaper and explained “equipment” in the Maharashtra elections. “The elections of the Mahashtra Assembly in 2024 were a plan to remove democracy. My article shows how it happened, step by step,” Mr. Gandhi said on X.
Mr. Nadda, who responded to the accusation, called an article “a plan for making false stories, because of his sadness and the despair of the loss of elections after the elections”. He also said that Mr. Gandhi made these charges to anticipate a certain defeat in the upcoming Bihar elections.
