The Asia Cup, scheduled from 9 to 28 September in UAE, will be played in the T20i format as a preparation for the T20 World Championship from 2026. The tournament will present eight teams for the first time. Group A includes India, Pakistan, Sae and Oman, while Group B consists of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. India will also face UAE and Oman 10 and 19 September.
