
Colombian President of the Hopeful Miguel Uribe died on Monday two months after he was shot at the Political Assembly in June, his family said. At the time of his death he was 39.
The Miguel Uribe’s family announced his death on the day and said the politician had died in the hospital in the capital of Colombia, Bogota, more than two months after the attack.
“Rest in peace, the love of your life. I will take care of our children,” wrote his wife María Claudius Tarazon in a post on the social media, which confirmed his death. “I ask God to show me a way to learn to live without you.”

On 7 June, Uribe suffered fatal injuries after he was shot three times twice in the head, while he gave a campaign in the park and remained in an intense care unit in a serious condition with episodes of a slight improvement.
After the attack he had several neurosurgery, all in vain.
The authorities detained six people, including a teenager who was arrested on the scene. This month, the accused was formally accused of attempting to murder and an illegal possession of a weapon.
It remains unclear who ordered the attack. The probe still concerns the case.
Who was Miguel Uribe Turbay?
Miguel Uribe Turbay was born in 1986 and was the son of a murdered journalist Diana Turbay and the grandson of former President Colombia Julio César Turbay Ayala.
He was a right -wing senator and a member of the opposition conservative Democratic Center founded by former Colombian President Alvaro Uribe. Both leaders are not related.
