Twenty -year -old debuted against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana stadium, thus becoming a brand in record books in just 20 years and 202 days.
Rasheed interrupted the previous record led by English Sam Curran, which opened for CSK in 2020 at 22 and 132 days.

Rasheed, who showed small signs of nerves, broke 27 out of 19 balls, attached six boundaries and helped CSK at a brisk beginning and chased 167 against LSG. Shared a 52-run opening stand with Rachin Ravindra (37 out of 22), giving the fighting five-time champions a rare solid foundation.
His debut Knock ended when he thought a short ball from Avesh Khan and offered Nicholas Pooran a simple catch. This season it was only for the third time in seven games, when CSK exceeded 50 in PowerPlay.

Rasheed, born in Gunture, Andhra Pradesh, is a promising dough of the top order, which represented Andhra in home cricket.
