RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family turmoil has taken a new turn as the politician’s daughter announced that she has disowned her family and leveled serious allegations against her brother Tejashwi Yadav and his aides.
After a social media post disowning her family and quitting politics, Rohini Acharya told the media that she was abused and pelted with slippers by her younger brother Tejashwi Yadav at her home.
“Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was humiliated, dirty words were hurled at her, a slipper was raised to hit her,” she said in a post on social media.
“Yesterday, my daughter was forced to leave her crying parents and sisters and leave, I was torn from my mother’s home… They left me an orphan,” she added.
In another post on Saturday, Rohini Acharya claimed that she had to endure abuse only because she was a woman.
“It has become a huge sin for me that I did not take care of my family, my three children, I did not take permission from my husband or my in-laws while donating a kidney… I did what I did to save my god, my father, and today it is called dirty,” Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter said.
Amidst the shocking allegations, the focus shifted to Rohini Acharya’s family in Singapore and her husband Samaresh Singh when she left for the country last night.
Rohini Acharya’s family—her husband, daughter Ananya, and two sons, Aditya and Arihant—live in Singapore.
