Founder of the Society of Sexual Wellness, Onetaste Inc. and her former sales head, were convicted of accusations of forced work by the Brooklyn court.
The California society promoted “orgasmic meditation”, or “OM”, which was carried out by men by hand -stimulating women in a group environment.
After a five -week court proceedings, the court found on Monday that Nicole Daedone, 57, founder Onetaste, and Rachel Cherwitz, 44 years, former sales director, wine after thinking for less than two days, reported about the press agency AP.
Both defendants could face up to 20 years in prison.
During the case of hearing, the prosecutors claimed that Nicole and Rachel had carried out a long system that regulated the adherents from which many of them were the victims of sexual trauma, said the report.
Both women used economic, sexual and psychological abuse, intimidation and indoctrination to force onetaste members to have sexual actions such as sex with potential investors or clients.
Assistant to American prosecutor Nina Gupt said last week in her final statement that the defendants “built a company on his back” victims that “gave them everything”, including “their money, time, their bodies, their dignity and finally their common sense”, according to reports.
“The jury’s judgment was revealed by Daedone and Cherwitz for who they really are: Grifters who dealt with vulnerable victims by issuing empty promises of sexual strengthening and wellness to manipulate work and services for the defendants,” said Joseph Nocella, American prosecutor.
