The US Ministry of Justice burned Maunene Comey, the Federal prosecutor in cases concerning collaborator Jeffrey Epstein Ghislaine Maxwell and music tycoon Sean “Diddy” Combs, sources on Wednesday mentioned Reuters.
Maurene Comey could not be addressed immediately. The Ministry of Justice did not respond immediately to the request for comment. The development was previously reported by Politico and ABC News.
Maurene Comey was not given an explanation for her shooting, and a note that cited the president’s powers to terminate employees pursuant to Article 2 of the US Constitution, said both sources and asked not to be identified.
Who is Maurene Comey?
Maurene Comey was successfully prosecuted by Ghislaine Maxwell, British Sociality and Epstein collaborator. In 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping the accused sexual offenders and globetrotting financier Epstein’s sexually abuse of adolescent girls.
Epstein, a rich financier and convicted sex offend, faced a federal accusation of minors with sex trading when he died in prison in 2019.
The Epstein case was recently in the report after Trump’s administration turned the course on its promise to issue documents she proposed, containing the main revelation of Epstein and his alleged clients. The conversion was enraged by some of Trump’s most faithful followers.
Maurene Comey also prosecuted Combs, which is to be convicted of October 3, after the music tycoon was convicted of the allegations of the transport of prostitutes to engage in sexual performance driven by drugs.
Combs, 55, remains in Brooklyn prison, where he has been held since his arrest last September. The jurors recently cleaned him of the most serious accusations he faced.
Maurene Comey is also the eldest daughter of the former director of the Federal Office for Investigation (FBI) James Comey.
James Comey was released by US President Donald Trump during the first term at the White House and is currently being investigated with the former CIA director John Brennan.
Trump previously attacked Brennan and James Comey for his role in investigating the claims of Russian interference in the US elections in 2016, which Trump won.
The Ministry of Justice was shot by a prosecutor who worked on cases concerning Trump or his political allies.
On Friday, the General Prosecutor Pam Bondi fired several other employees who worked for special advisors to Jack Smith to explore Trump’s maintenance of classified records and efforts to overturn the elections by 2020.
