El Mencho, one of the most wanted men in Mexico and the United States, was killed Sunday in a military operation about 130 kilometers (80 miles) from the Jalisco state capital of Guadalajara.

The US is offering a $5 million reward for information on Juan Carlos
The US State Department offers a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Juan Carlos Valencia González.
“The DEA’s investigation of Valencia Gonzalez revealed that he was responsible for the production, transportation, and distribution of tons of narcotics, as well as the organization of numerous violent crimes,” the State Department said.
