A case of a sexual assault against the rapper Keral Hirandas Murali, known as Vedan, was registered, after a young doctor accused him of having physical relations with her several times by promising her.
According to a police professional, the incidents were reportedly held between August 2021 and March 2023.
Police Thrikkakar in Kochi submitted a case on the basis of a doctor’s complaint in which she claimed that he took her to various places and at that time sexually attacked her. The probe was initiated into this matter.

Vedan, Rapper and composer from Thrissur, met a young doctor through Instagram. The complainant said she had visited her home in Kozhikod and raped her, then attacked her in more places and promised marriage.

Hirandas Murali, better known under his stage, is an Indian rapper and composer from Kerala. For the first time, Vedan gained importance in June 2020 by publishing his first music video called “Voice of the Voeless” on YouTube.
In particular, rapper and composer Vedan of Thrissur had previously faced charges of MeToo. He was also arrested after almost six grams of Ganja were confiscated from his apartment nearby in Tripunithura.
Circular Inspector Al Yesudas said: “Ganja was found in an apartment and £9 Lakhs were also obtained. He said that this money was the amount of reservation for the event. The forest department also started investigating his chain. Leopard teeth were used in the chain. ”
He reportedly admitted to drug use, the police said, adding that there were 9 people in his apartment.
