
Officers in criminal proceedings have taken a man allegedly responsible for shooting and killing a demonstrator during the protest against the “No Kings” protest in Utah 14 June.
Demonstrators gathered in large numbers across the country on June 14th to protest against Donald Trump’s immigration policy, but little knew that one of the demonstrators would have to lose their lives on the ongoing protest. Meanwhile, the authorities stated that the protesters were unintentionally shot and killed by an individual that was assumed to be a specified peaceful peace.
Police took the alleged shooter, Arturo Gamboa, 24, to custody on Saturday evening for murder accusations, said Salt Lake police chief Brian Redd at a Sunday press conference, according to AP.
Who is Arturo Gamboa?
Arturo Gamboa is a 24 -year -old man who was taken into custody to create a situation that led to the death of man during the “No Kings” protest. There is still no idea why the employee suddenly pulled the rifle for peace and reportedly shot a demonstrator during the ongoing rally. According to police authorities, Gamboa was responsible for creating a dangerous situation that led to the death of passers -by Arthur Foras Ah Loo.
“Redd said that a man dressed in a clearly colored vest fired three shots from the gun on Gamboa, caused relatively small injuries, but fatally fired AH Loo,” reads the news.
Gamboa was reportedly treated in a hospital for his injury and then sent to Salt Lake County Metro and was booked for murder charges.
When the shots left, they sent dozens of demonstrators running in different directions, some of them were hiding behind the barriers, while some fled into parking garages and nearby businesses, the police said in an official statement.
“That’s a weapon. Come on, come, get out,” someone can hear in a video published on social media showing events, reading a message, etc.
Rally organizers in Utah condemn violence, facts still unclear about the team of peace
The chapter in the Utah movement 50501, which helped to organize protests of 14 June, said in an official statement on Instagram that they condemned violence.
