
New Delhi: On Sunday, the government appointed former bureaucrat Amit Khare as the secretary of the new Vice President of CP Radhakrishnan.
Khare has been working as a prime minister’s advisor since October 12, 2021 and is engaged in matters related to the social sector in the Office of the Prime Minister. He was also part of the main team that formulated and implemented national education policy, 2020.
His appointment will be for three years from the date of the accusation.
“The Cabinet appointment Committee has approved the appointment of Amit Khare, IAS (Retd.), 1985 Batch, Jharkhand Cadre, as Secretary of Vice President of India,” said the official command.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Personnel and Training, Khare’s appointment will be on the basis of a contract in the rank and remuneration of the secretary for three years from the date on which he / she will be left.
Khare also held several key positions in the governments of central and state governments during his important career in public service.
He joined the Indian government as Secretary, Information & Broadcasting, 31 May 2018 and subsequently worked as a secretary, school education and literacy and minister of university education.
Khare is a graduate of St. Stephen’s College in Delhi and holds a postgraduate title in the business administration by Iim Ahmedabad. He is also widely known for his role in detecting “feed of fraud” in Bihar.
