The decision to remove Maurene Comey came from the US law firm for the South District of New York.
Leavitt said it was a decision to arrive and diverted other questions about whether the White House was involved or whether President Donald Trump signed himself in shooting. “Please direct all questions to the milking.”
Maurene Comey is talking
Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey-long adversary Trump-he said a statement after her release.
“If the prosecutor can be released for no reason, the fear may penetrate the decision of those who remain,” she said. “Don’t let it happen. Fear is a Tyrant’s tool.”
“Instead of fear,” she added, “let this moment drive a fire that is already burning in the heart of this place. The fire of a fair indignation in abuse.
High -ranking cases and timing
Maurene Comey has been with the SDs office for several years and took over some of the most important prosecution. She was helpful in the case of trading people against Jeffrey Epstein, who in 2019 died suicide in prison while waiting for trial. She also helped to ensure the belief of Epstein Ghislaine Maxwell’s collaborator and led the recent prosecution of music tycoon Sean Combs.
Her fire comes in the middle of the growing pressure on Trump’s administration to release sealed materials bound to Epstein.
Trump faces inner disagreement
Trump’s refusal to appoint a special advice in Epstein Matter caused a division at its base. Activist Laura Loomer and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Florida) publicly demanded transparency and independent investigation.
“The problem of Epstein could consume its entire presidency,” Loomer warned on social media. Boebert repeated the request: “We deserve the truth about Epstein files. I am ready for the special advice that can handle it.”
Doz and FBI don’t say any foul game
At the beginning of this month, and the FBI said that the review of the Epstein case found no evidence of the foul in his death or the hidden “client list” of powerful individuals. This conclusion, however, stimulated only other conspiracy theories and skepticism among Trump’s right -wing supporters.
The General Prosecutor Pam Bondi also came under fire for decision to decide not to publish further evidence from Epstein’s probe, which many believe that it still contains explosive information.
