The father of the child Bitan Adhikari was shot by a terrorist in the middle of the breathtaking beauty of Pahalgama Kashmir.
What was supposed to be a family trip to the “heaven on Earth” became a nightmare for the Adhikari family, which never rejOs on.

Back home in Calcutta, grief runs deeper.
Bitan was not only a devoted husband and father, but also the primary carer for his aging and sick parents, even though he lived abroad.
His father, 87 -year -old Bireshwar Adhikari, and his 75 -year -old mother Maya Adhikari are in bad health.

The attack of April 22 declared the lives of 25 Indian tourists and one National National National, and others were injured.
The wild nature of killing, allegedly after terrorists separated tourists outside Kashmir and asked them about their religion, caused national outrage.
Back in Calcutta, when neighbors and relatives try to comfort the adhikari family, the pain remains too deep to the words.
“I just want someone to tell my son why his father never returns. And I want justice – not only for my husband, but for every innocent person who lost his life that day,” his wife said.
The leader of the Congress of Trinamool Kunal Ghosh added to the family’s call for justice and publicly referred to social media and urged the central and state governments to consider the situation of Bitan’s parents and at the same time to compensate.
“Do not give the entire amount of compensation to Mrs. Adhikari himself,” Ghosh published on X.
“Kindly divide it and also give the amount to the parents of Mr. Bitan Adhikari. They are absolutely helpless. After Bitan’s death, parents became the most helpless. They must be given financial protection,” he said.
He further stressed that if the older parents were no longer alive, the amount would naturally return to Bitan’s wife and son, but at the moment the parents’ situation guaranteed immediate, independent attention.
“I am convinced that the state government will consider this point seriously. The central government should also think,” he wrote.
