On Tuesday (July 8, 2025), Congress said that US President Donald Trump had repeated his claims at least 21 times to cause a “ceasefire” between India and Pakistan, and asked when the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would break his “silence” on this issue.
In his notes on Monday (July 7, 2025), Mr. Trump repeated the claim that he had stopped the war between India and Pakistan by telling two neighbors that Washington would not trade them if they continued their fight.
The Secretary General of the In-Benbar Communications Communication Jairam Ramesh said, “President Trump said” for the last 59 days that “in May” stopped the four-day war in India, Pakistan in May; the war was about to escalate into a nuclear conflict. ”
Mr. Trump said that India and Pakistan agreed to the ceasefire, because his carrot and the counter of the US store were used, Mr. Ramesh said.
“In other words, his message was: Stop war at once or to face real prospects for loss of US markets (and probably investment),” he said.
“President Trump Trumpeted it all, just like him, he also announced that the US business agreement with India and Pakistan is about to be announced very soon,” Ramesh said.
“When was Narendra Modi – his leading colleague Ghanshyam Tiwari as BJP ‘Trump’s card’ once described – in this matter he violated his silence?” Said the leader of the congress.
Mr. Trump said on Monday (July 7, 2025) that the US is close to concluding a business agreement with India.
“We have now agreed with the United Kingdom, we have concluded an agreement with China. We are close to agreement with India. The others we met and do not think we can agree, so we just send them a letter. If you want to play the ball, that’s what you have to pay,” Trump said.
Trump repeated his assertion of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan and said, “We did a job with India and Pakistan, Serbia, Kosovo, Rwanda and Kong, and that has been for the last three weeks and others who were ready to fight.” “And we stopped a lot of fighting. I think the big, honestly, very, very big, India and Pakistan were. And we stopped it over the store,” he said.
“We said we wouldn’t deal with you at all if you were fighting. And maybe they were in the nuclear phase. They are both nuclear powers. And I think it was very important,” Trump added.
Since May 10, Mr. Trump has repeated his claim several times that he helped balance the tension between India and Pakistan and that he said nuclear armed South Asian neighbors that America traded a lot with them if he stops the conflict.
India began surgery Sindoor 7 May and focused on terrorist infrastructure on the territory controlled by Pakistan in response to the terrorist attack Pahalgam.
The strikes launched four days of intense clashes that ended in understanding at the stop of military actions of 10 May.
The new Delhi claims that the Indian violent counterattack forced Pakistan that day to ask for the end of hostility.
