When & Where to Buy IPL 2026 Playoffs Final Tickets: Complete Guide

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the ticket sales schedule for the IPL 2026 playoffs, with online bookings starting in phases later this week. District by Zomato has been appointed as the official ticketing partner for the knockout stage.

The the play off action begins with Qualifier 1 on 26 May at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, followed by the Eliminator on 27 May at the New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh. Qualifier 2 will be played on May 29 at New Chandigarh while the final is scheduled to be held on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

RuPay cardholders will get early access

Ticket sales will open first for RuPay credit card holders who have been granted priority access through exclusive booking windows. The first priority window will open on May 20th at 19:00 and will remain active for 24 hours, allowing eligible users to book Qualifier 1 and Eliminator tickets.

The second exclusive booking window for RuPay cardholders will begin on May 22 at 7:00 PM and will cover ticket sales for Qualifier 2 and the Final.

General sales dates announced

For the general public, ticket sales for the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will begin on May 21 at 8:00 PM, one day after the RuPay pre-sale begins. Bookings for Qualifier 2 and the Final will open on 23rd May at 20:00.

The BCCI said tickets will be available only through authorized online platforms, with fans able to purchase through the official IPL website as well as the District by Zomato website and mobile app.

High demand is expected

The gradual rollout is aimed at managing demand for the tournament’s most anticipated fixtures, with interest expected to be high as teams battle for the title. The play offs will mark the culmination of another competitive season of the IPL, with the final set being played at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad.

Fans have been advised to rely only on official booking channels to avoid fraudulent or counterfeit tickets. With confirmation of the knock-out line-up drawing near, the push to secure places for the deciding games is expected to intensify in the coming days.
