Kumar’s Modus Operandi included pretending to support the antivirus guard (AVG) and using false Google ads to attract victims. He would then ask for remote access and invent false problems to charge for unnecessary “support”.
How did Nanobaiter turn the tables?
“I played with his scenario until he tried to move away from my computer. He thought he had control, but I was about to turn fraud … He used one of the greatest weaknesses in cyber security: human vulnerability,” Nanobaiter explained.
After obtaining an IP address of the OP notebook, he approached the files, watched the screen in real time, and even opened a live webcam source.
“When I opened a live webcam source, he immediately knew he had spoiled a lot of time and put his hand over the camera, but it was too late.”
Nanobaiter then claimed that he had overcome Scammer by revealing his name and home complex in Ghaziabad, while downloading his Aadhar card, Mr. Card and Passport.

“I combined photos from his face with my face, which I saw on the webcam feed. There is no doubt that it was Manish Kumar, operating fraud with technical support directly from his bedroom,” said Nanobaiter, who also described Ghaziabad and Uttar Pradesh to take steps against Kumar.
How did social media react?
Nanobaiter received applause from social media users for exposing fraudsters who focus on innocent people. Here are some of the reactions:
