What is the Aadhaar app?
In the X, Ashwini Vaishnaw post, she announced that the new AADHAAR application, which is at the Beta testing phase, will soon combine facial ID and artificial intelligence (AI). The application seeks to bring the digital service to Aadhaar to Indian citizens through a mobile application.
The Aadhaar application, which provides users full control of their personal data, removes the need for the physical card of Aadhaar or photocopy at hand.
The Minister also claimed that the application is 100 % digital and secure, “there is no need to pass on the Aadhaar photocopy at the hotel receptions, shops or during travel.
How to download E-Aadhar using Maadhar?
Visit Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS), search for “Maadhaar”, download and install the official app.
Here are the steps to download E-Aadhaar using Maadhaar:
Step 1: After installing Maadhaar, open the app and enter your 12 -digit AADHAAR number or 28 -digit EID number.
Step 2: Enter the registered mobile number and click “Generate OTP”.
Step 3: Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click “Verify”.
Step 4: Click “Download Aadhaar”.
Step 5: Enter the Aadhaar password and click “Send”.
Step 6: E-Aadhaar of the user will be downloaded in PDF format.
