Social media has been abuzz with several reports of ongoing controversies surrounding the sexual assault of Lorna Hajdini. So who is it? Why is it trendy? How is JPMorgan Chase related? Here’s everything you need to know about the high-profile lawsuit.
What is the sexual assault of Lorna Hajdini?
The dispute erupted after a lawsuit was filed against Lorna Hajdini, an executive at JPMorgan Chase. It was filed by a former employee under the pseudonym John Doe in New York Supreme Court.
In a series of shocking sexual harassment allegations against Hajdini, the lawsuit alleges that the 37-year-old JP Morgan Chase employee targeted her younger colleague, who joined the company in March 2024.
The allegations were first published by the Daily Mail and alleged misconduct, including repeated sexual advances, threats and racist remarks. The complaint said Hajdini used her power at the firm to intimidate him and take control of him.

The accusation against Hajdini explained
According to the complaint, the alleged harassment began after he joined the organization as a senior vice president/director.
The lawsuit mentioned that Hajdini, who worked with the employee, allegedly initiated unwelcome actions several times.
She allegedly made derogatory comments about the complainant’s wife and forced sexual acts without consent. “Stop fucking crying… do you think anyone would believe you?” she said, it claimed.

Allegations of sexual abuse
The complaint said Hajdini told him, “Stop fucking crying. Do you think anyone would ever believe you? You’re a fool who thinks he’s a hot s**t, but you can’t even tell me he’s a whore? What the hell?”
The explosive lawsuit also highlighted that Hajdini used her position in power to force her to comply with the complaint. She allegedly told him at a work event, “You’re going to have to earn it, my little Arab boy, toy,” and engaged in unwelcome physical contact.
In September 2024, Hajdini allegedly slapped Doe for not bringing in enough business to support her bid for the CEO promotion. She also claimed that she threatened him with consequences if he refused her advances.
“You think you’re going to be in good shape if you don’t have me in your corner,” she allegedly said. “Do you really think (management)… you want some brown boy, Native American head of Originations?… If you don’t blow my brains out tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion,” he was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
Alleged racial remarks
In addition to misconduct and sexual advances, the lawsuit also includes allegations of racial slurs. It allegedly mentioned remarks such as “my little Arab boy” and “my little brown boy” from Hajdini.
The claims also include that Hajdini allegedly arrived at Doe’s apartment in 2024 and asked, “Do you want a promotion at the end of the year or not? Do you want a future at JPMorgan? It’s that simple. I don’t know why you’re fighting it.” However, Doe said he declined her offer to go out for a drink. Hajdini allegedly told him: “If you don’t cheat on me soon, I will destroy you… never forget, I own you,” according to the Daily Mail.
The lawsuit further stated that she propositioned him for oral sex in the workplace. “BJ birthday for a brown boy? My little brown boy,” she allegedly said.
“Oh, you played basketball in college? … I love basketball players … so they dunked me,” she also allegedly told him once.

JP Morgan Chase responds
Meanwhile, JP Morgan Chase has responded to the claims and denied the allegations. According to the company, an internal investigation found no merit in the case.
“After investigation, we do not believe there is any merit to these claims,” the spokesman said. “While many employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and refused to provide facts that would be essential to support his claims.”
Where is Hajdini now?
Hajdini recently deactivated or deleted her LinkedIn account after an uproar on social media.
“Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She never engaged in any inappropriate behavior of any kind with this person and was never at the location where the alleged sexual assault allegedly occurred,” Hajdini said in a statement to The New York Post.
The controversy drew mixed reactions online.
