
Indian entrepreneur and investor Nikhil Kamath has recently opened up about what the world thinks of India with Bhakti Modi (Tira), Shantan Desthpande (Bombay shaving) and Dipa Khosla (Inde Wild) in his latest episode on Youtube.

During the Kamath interview, he emphasized how the world connects India with animals such as tigers and snakes.
On this topic Khosla, Destypande and Modi stressed that India is known for things like weddings, yoga, spirituality and food.
“We have to build on them when we are building a global brand,” Kamath joked.
Dipa Khosla quoted the example of her mother and explained how exhibitions could be exhibited to build a brand with hair from India.

“When I talk to a stranger about India, they have a mental image of tigers, snakes and all that,” said Nikhil Kamath.
“I think the family. There is a lot of Asian culture. Heat and vibration,” Modi added, while Deshpande believes that classical music is part of India.
“Punjabi music too,” Khosla added.
“It’s stereotypes, I feel that India is very alive when it comes to its color palette. You always expect the Indian brand to be colorful.”
India known for Hinduism?
They also discussed how more spirituality was associated with the ground than religion.
“More than religion, I would say spirituality,” Diipa Khosla said.
Kamath further asked, “Hinduism?” “We say two different things. I don’t think they look at India purely like Hinduism. But they consider Indians to be very spiritual people. Like we do morning meditations. None of us do. But they think so.”
Khosla continued to share how people think all multinational companies would have one Indian CEO, because India is also known for intellect, intelligence and education. “Everyone in the West has one Indian friend who is highly educated, who is doing very well in her career,” she shared.
Kamath continued to share the list of things, from Indian weddings to spirituality, which should be kept in creating an Indian brand for global attraction. “If I build something from the community, I should choose something from a wedding, culture, color, palaces, religion, spirituality, yoga, CEO, intelligent and build on it?”
“And food,” Modi added, while the other founders agreed.
They also mentioned how Indian flowers have the potential because it is still unexplored.
“Like her, she launched Jalebi and Chai Lip balms,” Bhakti Modi said with the example of Diiipa Khosla branded products.
“I wouldn’t have tuned chicken tikka Masala (taste),” said the founder of Inde Wild.
They also discussed the use of AI Tech in finding proper skin care during conversation. The host Kamath also opened up about the meanings of his tattoo and how they keep it running.
