Harbhajan Singh explained what Pat Cummins was doing with a special captain before the World Cup final between Australia and South Africa, which will begin on June 11 in Lord’s. Cummins are trying to secure their second WTC title as Captain Aussies, who also led them to the Odi World Cup and Trophy Border-Gavascar at the beginning of the year.

“Cummins is one of those leaders who connect them all together. And more importantly, it’s a proven winner of the match with a great command in the dressing room. When your team respects and gathering behind you, you win more matches. That’s what makes him a very special captain for Australia,” Harbhajan said.
Aakash Chopra, who was also part of the discussion, said that Cummins would be the biggest threat to the match in South Africa because of its versatile skills.
“Pat cummins is the biggest threat. His leadership, his bowling, when he is a partnership, his launching below after the order – contributes across departments. He leads from the front and always keeps the opposition under pressure,” Chopra said.

Harbhajan also said that Australia will be ready for a competition against Proteas with experience recently playing in England. The former Spinner feels that Aussies are masters in handling pressure in big matches.
“Australia will come. They played a lot of cricket in England – progress, the last WTC final – and this experience will count. They understand these conditions better than South Africa. Moreover, they are champion.
