On Friday (August 22, 2025), he stressed that “infiltrators” were putting pressure on the country’s sources and infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on Friday (August 22, 2025) to vote for the BJP to free the state of infiltrators.
“Your one vote can make Bengal without infiltrators. We have limited resources and we have to ensure our youth. Infiltrators are putting pressures on our resources and infrastructure. They also pose a threat to our women.
The elections of the Assembly in the State are due at the beginning of next year.
Mr. Modi mentioned the start of a demographic mission and said that West Bengal, who is a border state, is facing the threat of infiltration. He said that the demography of West Bengal is changing as a result of “infiltration”.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come at a time when hundreds of migrating staff from the state reportedly detained and harassed the suspicion of Bangladesh. Many of the migrant workers were forced to return to the state. Congress Trinamool described such detainees as an attack on the Bengal language and identity and called for a permanent movement against the drive.

During the day, the Prime Minister of Metro Rail Services inaugurated three sections – green, yellow and orange lines. Mr. Modi also laid the foundation stone for various projects in the state and opened several in all worth over 5,200 GBP Crore.
Bill against corruption
He stated that the BJP government introduced the main law on anti -corruption at this meeting, said that the Prime Minister would also be under his ambitus. “You all know that if a government official is arrested in our country and if they do not get a deposit within 50 hours, they are automatically suspended. However, there are no such rules for ministers, chief ministers or prime ministers,” he said.
He focused on opposition parties, and Mr. Modi said that some people were bent so low that they were trying to drive even from prison. “West Bengal has witnessed many times. One Minister of Trinamool is still in prison for charging the recruitment of teacher.
He called for a change in West Bengal and Mr. Modi gave the new slogan “Bachte Chai Bjp Tai” (he wants to be saved, so we need BJP). He also added that BJP believes in “Bangalar Uday, Tobei Viksit Bharater Jai” (the rise of Bengal leads to the victory of developed India).
“Central funds diverted”
Mr Modi criticized the government of the Congress Trinamool and said that for “the development of Bengal is a huge obstacle, because the money sent by the Center for the State Government does not reach people”. “This money is not used for the welfare of women and the poor; instead it is spent on the Trinamool cadre,” he added.
The Prime Minister told the Assembly, which is necessary to election of BJP in West Bengal to ensure that the benefits of the programs of the central government reached people. “It is certain that Trinamool will be removed from power and BJP will be elected,” he added.

It was the third visit to the Prime Minister of the State since May 2025. July 18, 2025 visited Durgapur and introduced various development projects and said that Bengal’s language and identity were primary for BJPs, but also said that infiltrators in the country will be solved by law. Previously, the Prime Minister visited Alipurduar on May 29, 2025, where he said that people from West Bengal do not want “Nirmam Sarkar” (heartless government).
