On Tuesday (July 22, 2025) on Tuesday (July 22, 2025), he took an exception to the Police of the Police in Haryana, looking for a verification of Bengal migrating workers working in the Grrabogram.
Mrs. Baerjee, who dealt with a press conference at the State Secretariat, said that police Haryan had sent a letter looking for verification from district judges and police superintendents to verify the names of 52 migrants from the state.
Only the day before, on Monday, the chairman of the Congress Trinamool announced the “language movement” to protest against the targeting of migrants from the state in the States of BJP for speaking in Bengal at the annual meeting of the martyrs in Calcutta.
“What do you want? Interest West Bengal? Is terrorism on language,” she said.
Development comes at a time when many migrants from West Bengal are detained in several countries, which take place for days for suspicion of Bangladesh nationals. Workers are forced to return to their homes.
‘Bjp is wrong’
Mrs. Banerjee, who asked people from the state not to be afraid, assured that her government would do everything needed.
“Just by indulging in such tactics, if BJP thinks by eliminating the names of people from the voter’s list, they can win West Bengal as (doing it) Delhi and Maharashtra, wrong,” she said.
At a press conference, the main minister added that the inhabitants of Falacaty in West Bengal, Anjali Seal, received a notice from the tribunal foreigners based in Kokrajhar, Assam.
“If you think you will lead the country, the country will be divided. Once the country is divided, then unity suffers. We want the country to remain unified and strong,” Mrs. Banerjee said at the state secretariat. She advised to advise Assam’s main Minister Himanta Bisw Sarma to think of his own business and did not interfere with the questions of West Bengal.
New Field Scheme announced
The main minister also announced the new initiative Amader Para, Amader Samadhan (our location, our solution), under which government officials will appeal to people in all locations.
“We are the first to take such an initiative in the country. Our officials will be present on the ground to listen to people’s concerns. Each center will cover three stalls and effectively create one unit for a specific location,” said Banerjee. Outreach the initiative will begin on 2 August.
Mrs. Banerjee added that since the whole program was about two months, it took approximately two months.
She added that the amount of 10 lakh will be assigned to each stand and that the government will spend more than 8,000 GBP Crore in this program. The initiative is similar to the Duare Sarkar program (government on the feet), which the state government began in December 2020.
