Justice Joyamalya Bagchi says the special circumstances of “logical contradiction” in West Bengal require an impartial verification of the objections. “Those who have been dismissed would be on the supplementary list. Others can appeal to the Court of Appeal and we do not want to cut short the appeal hearing. The hearing should be held in full at the Appeal Tribunals.”
The bench was responding to an oral plea by senior advocate Kapil Sibal for some “temporary relief” to the debarred persons, though they were charted.
