
As part of the “Healthy India, Happy India”, Hospital Narvi, Vellore in collaboration with Hindu, the webinar on “Stress: Silent Killer of Onea’s Heart” organized a webinar. The sessions were three experts who explored the impact of chronic heart health and shared practical strategies for effective management.
Mohammed Jaffer Sherif, Cardiotoracic and Vascular Anesthaesia in Narvi hospitals, explained science for stress. It is a sense of emotional or physical tension caused by events or thoughts that cause frustration, anger or nervousness.
“Proactively solving everyday stress can have a big difference,” he said. While chronic stress is serious health risks, short -term stress can increase focus, motivation and resistance. He also warned the younger generation to remember the growing impact of digital stress.
Ray George, Cardiothoracic consultant and vascular surgery in Narvi hospitals, spoke of symptoms, symptoms and hidden dangers of stress. He explained different body reactions to stress and noted: “Stress can cause increased heart rate and low blood pressure to name at least some.”
He also emphasized long -term complications of stress, including metabolic and endocrine disturbances, increased risk of diabetes, weight gain and obesity.
Vinyak Shukla, senior consultant Cardiotoracic Surgery, Narvi Hospital, spoke of “stress management for a healthier heart”. The persecution of hobbies could move attention from daily stressors, explained and encouraged regular physical activity such as yoga, walking and running to effectively handle stress. “It is about moving your focus on moments of beauty, simplicity and everyday miracles of life,” he said.
