According to the forecast, the Gujarat region will probably experience intense showers between 5 and 6 September, while Saurashtra and Kutch can witness heavy to very heavy rain from 6 to 7 September.

For the Delhi-NCR area, no rain warnings were issued for the capital, while the Grumram and Faridabad were placed under a yellow warning, indicating light rain.

What is the latest situation at the Yamuna flood?
At least 55 families were rescued from the village affected by the floods in the Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh, because the water from Hathnicend fire in Haryana caused the Yamuna River.
The rescued families come from the village of Badarpur, which are located on the shores of Yamuna in Sub-Division last year, and were evacuated using the national team reaction to disasters (NDRF) deployed in this area, another district judge Saubh Bhatt said.
“For the rescued families, measures for food, including milk for infants, were taken,” Bhatt said, adding that camps were created for the villagers, although many of them were reluctant to move to them.

Panjab Floods
Pandjab also witnesses severe rainfall and approximately 37 lives were lost due to serious floods, he announced the state government on Thursday.
According to the Pandjab government, approximately 1655 villages were hit, while Gurdaspur was the most affected area of the land, because 324 villages are influenced by floods, followed by Ferospur (111), Amritsar (190), Hoshiarpur (121), Kapurthala (123) and Sangr.
