On Monday, he visited the front units in the Charkiv area and met the 17th of the 57 -independent motorized battalion.
During his visit, he found that foreign mercenaries were on Earth and were fighting the Ukrainian forces.
When Zelsky enters the social media platform, he wrote: “Our warriors in this sector report the participation of mercenaries from China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and African countries in the war.
He added: “We talked to the commanders about the first line, defense of Vovchansko and the dynamics of battles. Specifically, we also dealt with the questions of the supply and deployment of drones, recruitment and direct funding of brigades.”
His statement comes when Ukraine still faces a harsh war reality that has led to a loss of many lives and displaced millions.
Zelena expressed his deepest gratitude for his soldiers and said, “I handed over to our state prize defenders. It is honored to be here. Thank you for the fight, serving your state and the Ukrainian people and for mutual support.”
As the conflict persists, Russian and Ukrainian officials convened several meetings in Istanbul, Turkiy, Al Jazeera reported.
On Sunday, he announced that the last meeting agreed to exchange 1200 prisoners.
Previously, Trump issued a warning of the introduction of “very strict tariffs” in Russia, unless he immediately completed an agreement on a ceasefire with Ukraine, which recently reduced its initial timeframe from 50 days to 10-12 days.
