
Former US advisor Mary Kissel has emphasized the essential role of India in a partnership with the United States and mentioned that Washington relies on the support of the new Delhi to face the growing influence of Beijing in the region.
In an interview with Fox News, Kissel, who was the leading advisor of former Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo, he emphasized the importance of a strong partnership in India and the US in the middle of economic tribes. This voltage is driven mainly by 50% tariff on Indian imports stored by Donald Trump Administration, which includes 25% tariff due to Russian oil purchase.
“If we really seriously consider communist China the greatest threat to the United States and our way of life, we need India. It’s just a reality. We can’t fight them alone in Asia and the Pacific,” Kissel said.
