WE Hub launches Campuspreneur

February 21, 2026

WE Hub Foundation on Friday launched its flagship student entrepreneurship initiative called Campuspreneur under the Grassroot Youth Innovation Program (GYIP), a structured 12-week journey from idea to prototype for young innovators.

GYIP is aimed at strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions of Telangana by systematically enabling students with structured mentorship, industry exposure and institutional support.

Campuspreneur is designed to help students transform innovative ideas into proven and viable business models through structured training, mentorship, prototype development and ecosystem exposure. The program received 112 idea registrations, out of which 57 high-potential teams comprising 143 student entrepreneurs were selected for Cohort 1. The cohort represents 26 colleges from nine districts in Telangana, with participation expanding to Pune and Navi Mumbai.

Campuspreneur will support academic institutions to establish and manage their own incubation centers to support sustainable campus entrepreneurship ecosystems.

WE Hub CEO Sita Pallacholla said, “Campuspreneur is about empowering girls not only as job seekers but also as job creators. By equipping them with the right skills, we empower them to build confidence, formalize their ideas and step into entrepreneurship, a pathway to economic independence and leadership.”
