The opposition leader (LOP) in Rajya Sabha in Mallikarjun Kharge said on Tuesday that Interior Minister AMIT Shah must take responsibility for the “security slump” that led to the terrorist attack of Pahalgam and demanded that the liability be determined.
Kharge, President of Congress, quoted a statement by Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, while talking about the “Sindoor” in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack in the upper chamber.
Congress leader attacked the government and mocked unplanned visit to Pakistan in Pakistan in 2015.
“I condemn the barbarian attack (in Pahalgam) and the continuous support of terrorists in Pakistan. We have also condemned Pakistan, we will condemn them today, and if it continues tomorrow, we will continue to condemn them.
Kharge may have referred to a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lahore in Lahore to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif during a surprising visit to this country -a first visit to Pakistan by Indian Prime Minister for more than 10 years.
Previously, the Interior Minister Shah at Lok Sabha announced that all three Lashkar-E-Taba (years) terrorists were involved in the terrorist attack of Pahalgam on Monday on Monday.
Kharge said that the Prime Minister was to be present at the meeting of all parties instead of campaigning in Bihar and challenging Modi’s sincerity towards national security.
The opposition leader in Rajya Sabha, who demanded responsibility, said that the government should admit its “outages” and “failure” to stop terrorist attacks. He asked if the statement of Governor Jamm and LT Kashmir about security waste was focused on the “rescue” of the Minister of the Interior.
“Jammu Kashmir LG Manoi Sinha himself admitted that Pahalgam was a security forfeiture and what happened in Pahalgam was unfortunate, innocent people were brutally killed.
The Minister of the Interior must take responsibility for forfeiture, not LG.
Twenty -six civilians were killed in a terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, after which India retreated accurate strokes under the Sindoor operation and focused on the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan, the occupied Kashmir (POK).
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed Lok Sabha on Monday during a special discussion on “Operation Sindoor”, an Indian military reaction to the terrorist attack Pahalgam. Singh addressed Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. PM modi is expected to speak in Lok Sabha later during the day.
