Twenty -five -year -old Samantha Kimene of Tipperary, Ireland, died last weekend in Tenerife, Spanish weeks after a collapse at work, People.com reported on Sunday and quoted the Irish mirror.
The report added that Kimene collapsed at work three weeks ago and was transported to a hospital where she was diagnosed with leukemia and Covid-19.
Her uncle Arturs Kimens, whom she lived at that time, said Kimene had started to handle, but it was “too late”.
“The diagnosis was too late. What happened, just tried to treat her, and it was unsuccessful because her body couldn’t take it,” he told the Irish mirror.
“She also had a Covid and virus, or anything that it was, spread through her organs and just … unfortunately she died,” he added.
Arturs also said that Kimene’s mother – Inese, and he was in Tenerife to agree to repair her to Ireland.
Kimene had a chance to meet some friends who made his niece in his new home when they were on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
“All the people I have met with whom they worked are in absolute devastation. They are destroyed that they are gone, they cannot believe it,” Arturs said.
He added, “And she had in mind for me. I loved her very much and I will miss.”
