Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL), which will have to compete with private firms for the production of the Indian Indian program of the fifth generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft Aircraft (AMCA), welcomed the government step to engage private players.
In May, the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh approved the model for AMCA and opened the door to the private sector to compete with Bengaluru-with the seat in the defense of the dog to make a native fifth-generation fighter.
End of the monopoly
This step ended the monopoly, which Hal enjoyed for years when the prototypes of the building and the production of fighter aircraft occurred.
HAL Chairman and CEO of DK Sunil said that the dog had no problem with this step of the government.
“We have no problem with that; we are a very capable society and we are not really afraid of competition. The goal is to develop alternative players to the halls, so we are fine with it. Sunil Hindu.
“I wouldn’t take it in the negative sense that our monopoly ends in this sense. We are a government company and have been working since the age of 85 in the interest of the nation; so I think we are fine with it. We see no problem in it,” he added.
Discussed
On the question of whether Hal responded to the statement of interest (EOI) issued by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), which performs the program, Dr. Sunil said, “The last date is sometime in August.
He added that there were three options before the Hal – either to go solo or as a consortium, or go as a common business – and that in the next month he evaluates and takes a decision.
LCA delay
The delay in the delivery schedule for the LCA MK-1A and criticism of the Air Chief Marshal Air Staff criticism reiterated that it was due to the fact that Aerospace GE lacked the term for engine supply.
“The primary reason is the engine. When in February (IAF chief) mentioned (IAF chief) (that there is no certain halls during Aero India), we did not have the only engine from GE, even though the dragon was ready,” Sunil. He added that the first engine came in April and that GE promised the second engine in July.
“In addition to engines, we also have problems concerning software, radar and missiles. Some problems have appeared with the software iteration, so both these problems contributed, but the engine was most dominant,” he added.
