Wayanad on Wednesday meant a grim milestone: the first anniversary of his deadliest natural disaster.
The survivors, the victim’s families, the civic officials, the state ministers and the local leaders gathered at the Puthumal cemetery to pay tribute more than 300 lives lost in the devastating landslides that hit Mundakkai and Chooralmala on July 30 last year.
With floral honors and prayer with more faiths, they appreciated the victims. Sadness was palpable when families visited Graves. The day ruled the memories of the tragic night, which ravaged a year ago by Mundakkai and Chooralmal.
