The first anniversary of the landslide Mundakkai and Chooralmala is marked with grim considerations, although the survivors continue to express disappointment with initiatives after disaster and rehabilitation.
On Wednesday (July 30) in the morning in the cemetery in the cemetery at the Harrison Malayalam Tea Room in Puthumale, where dozens of victims were buried. Many of them still remain unidentified.
The District Administration and Mepadi Gram Panchayat together organize a meeting in memory of the MSA auditorium in Mepadi. The KSRTC will overlook special services in the Puthumal cemetery and the MSA auditorium. Services will be available from MEPADI PANCHAYAT office from 9:00

For many survivors, the anniversary serves as a painful flash to the traumatic night of land landslifting 30.
Abdul Majed, Authorickshaw and survivors, reflects many of many: “The reminder for me and others, like me, seeks to erase memories of the fateful night,” he said.
Mr. Majed believes that only those who have experienced horror have lost their loved ones and faced unimaginable terror, they can actually understand the depth of pain. “No one else can understand the real pain and the horror we have lasted; it is a burden carried only by survivors as we do,” he said.
