Nineteen vehicles from the main Minister Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav’s convoy had to be towed when the contaminated diesel was completed at the end of Thursday night.
The vehicles were to be part of Yadav’s convoy on Friday, which was in the Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh for regional industrial skill and development.
A gasoline pump sealed
The incident occurred when the convoy stopped at the gasoline pump in a ratlam to replenish replenishment without realizing that the diesel was released, was contaminated with water. The petrol pump was sealed after fraudulent practice appeared, PTI reported.
Some vehicles managed to leave the fuel station, but shortly afterwards it stopped on the highway, while others could not even move from the pump.
The convoy driver reveals details
Shaubham Parmar, a convoy driver, spoke to the local media about the incident. He said the vehicles were on his way from Indore for the Program of the Chief Minister.
“We came all the way from Indore and descended at this Bharat pump to replenish. The first few vehicles that left the petrol pump stopped on the highway, but the others stopped at the pump itself,” he said.
The driver said that when they checked the fuel, they found that they were mixed with water that local officials were warned.
Ongoing further investigation
Ashish Upiphyay, the local Naib then, said the investigation was underway. The UPAPHYAY also questioned gasoline pump pumps that suspected that diesel tanks could have been filled with rainwater in the last few days, led to contamination, the press agency reported.
The authorities have temporarily sealed the petrol pump and are trying to track the owners of the device for further questioning.
