Indian captain T20 Suryakumar Yadav announced on Monday that he would pay his entire fee for the match from the Asia Cup 2025 to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam and the Indian armed forces.
“I decided to donate my fees for the match from this tournament to support our armed forces and families of victims who suffered from a terrorist attack by Pahalgam. You always stay in my thoughts. Jai Hind,” Suryakumar wrote on X.
Soon after his announcement, a video of AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) Saurabh Bharadwaj appeared and was viral on social media. In the clip, Bharadwai is considered to be an Indian captain to contribute to the widows of the victims of Pahalgam.
“Suryakumar Yadav, if you have the ability, we invite you to give the money you earned … The widow of the victim of Pahalgam,” says Bharadwaj in the video.
The video was widely distributed by the BJP leader, including the National spokesman Shehzad Poonawally, who shared it on X with the headline:
“AAP threw on Surya Kumar Yadav challenge. This foul mutha saurabh bharadwaj said,” Tumhariu aukaat hai de to paisa “… Guess
Poonawall further questioned whether Bharadwaj should continue public life after performing such notes.
Meanwhile, on the day, Saubh Bharadwaj published another video, allegedly taken before the start of the Asian Cup, in which Suryakumar Yadav was seen to shake his hands with the Asian cricket (ACC) president and chairman of the Pakistanic cricket council (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi.
“Look, at the beginning of the series, 15 days ago, even shook hands with Pakistani Minister Mohsin Naqvi and also took a photo,” Bharadwaj said in his post. “But when there was opposition to the match in India, they gave the players a new script to lead propaganda in the country,” he said.
