There was a video on the social media showing a wounded Ukrainian soldier who escaped on an electric bike from Russian land.
The soldier who identified the call emblem “Tanker” held the line for 5 days at the position of 360 near the front line in Siversk in the Ukrainian eastern region of Donetsk.
Since the soldier was unable to evacuate himself for injuries, he was delivered by an electric motorcycle 40 kilograms directly to his position.
The video released by Rubizh Brigade shows a heavy lift drone that reduces the electric wheel directly to the tanker position.
According to media reports, attempts to save the Ukrainian forces were too risky because Russian units were placed on all fronts.
“Our drones covered us from the top,” the tanker said. “Then they threw two gas cylinders directly into our hole and lighter. We ignited.”
The escape took place when the Russian forces launched deadly missile attacks on Kiev and killed at least 16 people.
Mykola Hrhytsenko, head of the Ukrainian Brigade, said that the rescue of the country was impossible for terrain and active struggles in this area. So his team devised an alternative: Airlifting 40 kg bike to help the soldier escape.
The first two delivery attempts were unsuccessful because one drone was shot down while another overheating due to weight. On the third attempt, the drone successfully added the tanker bike, added Hrytsenko.
“The enemy was before, behind and on both sides. Completely surrounded,” said Hrostsenko.
