
On Friday, April 11, a sudden dust storm in Mumbai Indians was disrupted at the ARUN Jaitley stadium in Nový Delhi. In a video shared by five times the IPL champions, players were seen as they started from the field as a strong wind swept at the stadium without warning early in the evening.
Former Captain Rohit Sharma brought chaos a touch of humor and shouted “comeback” as the scene developed as something from an adventure film. Rohit even ordered the cameraman to capture the dramatic visuals of the dust storm swirling stands at the venue. It was located near the border line when unexpected wind gusts swung the city.
Deepak Chahar was among the players caught in the storm, along with the coaches Mahel Jayawardene and Lasith Maling. Fortunately, all players and support employees managed to quickly achieve safety and were not exposed to a storm for a long time.
Bombai Indians were preparing for the fundamental clash of IPL 2025 with the Delhi capital, scheduled for Sunday, April 13.
