Stand-in Captain Riyan Parag Rajasthan Royals (RR) is after clicking on the photo with them to kill the phone for security staff. The incident occurred after Rajasthan defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the match 11 Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) on Sunday, March 30, at the Barsapar, Guwahati cricket stadium.
Rajasthan won his first match of the season under the leadership of Parag and beat CSK by six runs. After the victory, the local boy was seen by signing autographs and posing for photographs with ground staff and security staff. A video about the incident became viral on social media, where Stand-in Captain Rajasthan Royals introduced himself for the photo and threw the phone back into the group instead of returning it to his hands.

The incident did not fall well with a part of fans on social media who slammed Parag for treating security staff with disrespect. People even called on an unnecessary attitude of the young man and asked him to be a little more humble with his fans.

Previously, during the first game of the season in Guwahati against the Kalkata Knight riders, The fan violated the safety and attacked the playground to meet with Parag. The fan came in a hurry to a cricket who was about to have delivery and began to touch his feet. It was a manifestation of love from the local crowd for Parag, who stood up in a cricket fraternity and became the first player from the northeastern part of the country to play for India.
Meanwhile, Parag has not been able to record a big score in the season. However, he appreciated the valuable contribution in Rajasthan’s victory against CSK, playing shifts 37 (28) using two four and so much. Nitish Rana Highest for RR with stunning shifts 81 (36) helped his team after 182/9 in their assigned 20 overs.
In response, Chennai was limited to 176/6 in their 20 overs, when Rajasthan won the match of six runs. Parag also took a breathtaking catch on the envelope to release Shivam Dube in the second shift. Waninda Hasarang was a selection of pitching with 4/35 characters in four breaks. Rajasthan will be the next 5th April in Chandigarh.
