West Indies has left his teammates from Lucknow Super Giants, including Captain Rishabha Pant, in respect, when he nailed the portrayal of the popular Bollywood song. During what seemed to be karaoke night in the LSG camp, Pooran effortlessly mouth into the lyrics Tere sang yaaraWell beloved number from Bollywood 2016 Rustom.
Rishabh Pant looked visibly surprised and impressed with the almost perfect performance of Nicholas Pooran, originally sung atif Aslam. Pooran not only hit the right notes, but also gained the pronunciation of Hinda texts on the spot.
Fans on social media were full of praise for Suran’s efforts behind the microphone. One even dubbed him “Yo Yo Pooran Singh” and compared him to the popular Indian rapper.
Overseas players, especially those from West India, have long adopted Indian culture during their time in IPL. Nicholas Pooran is constantly becoming the name of the household in the country, thanks to his heroism with the bat in the T20 league.
