The confrontation developed shortly after the match ended and added an unpleasant reversal for visitors to a disappointment.
According to the Pakistani cricket council (PCB), Khushdil was subjected to verbal abuse of individuals in stalls who allegedly cast anti-Pakistanic slogans and inappropriate language.

In the PCB statement, she said: “The Pakistani cricket leadership strongly condemned the abusive language focused on national players by foreign viewers. During today’s match, foreign viewers threw unsuitable notes on crickets present in the field.”

“When anti-Pakistanic slogans appeared, cricket Khushdil Shah entered and urged the audience to stay. In response, Afghan viewers escalated the situation using another inappropriate language in Pasht.
Videos eyewitnesses orbiting social media showed that Khushdil responded emotionally, and seemed to move towards the crowd before holding them off by team officials.
The incident comes in the middle of the already turbulent tour for Pakistan, which was overcome in all formats.
In the end, Pakistan fell 43 runs on 264-8 in New Zealand in the game with rain 42 over.
Their launches again disintegrated under pressure despite the fixed start, with Babar Azam (50), Abdullah Shafik (33) and Mohammad Rizwn (37), which showed some resistance.
