India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has decided to cut 400-500 flights a day to achieve “full stabilization of its flight schedule”, reducing operations from around 2,300 to 1,800-1,900 flights a day. The decision comes hours after the DGCA ordered a 5% cut citing the airline’s inability to reliably operate its approved flight schedule.
