Engliev Harry Brook brought the moment of humor to the intense day of the 4th test of Edgbaston when Chich’s tried to convince Indian Captain SHUBMAN GILL to prematurely declare shifts. With a gill in a lofty form and an Indian lead, around 550 rose sharply, Brook was caught on a stump microphone and said, “Sign up to 450, it will rain tomorrow!” – A crazy joke supplied with a smile, but one who indicated real concerns in the English camp.
But Gill was not in the mood to commit. The Indian captain fired at a different level and scored a smooth and dominant 161 of 162 balls. After a careful start in the morning, he switched the gear and took control of the shifts. India, supported by practical contributions from Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja, ended its second shift at 427 and set England Mammotian goal of 608.
ENG VS India. Test day 4 Updates

When the result board was constantly ticking and the fans were waiting for a statement, The decision was still pushing. At one stage, it seemed that it could trigger Gill’s release – but India sent Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar instead. The cameras even caught the Indian pitch in their jumpers, relaxed and waited.
Eventually, The statement came with approximately 16 remaining on the dayAnd India quickly struck to remove the three English dough. Yet, with rain forecast for 5th day in Birmingham, Brook’s comment now carries more weight than just joking. Was it a question about many minds – India said too late?
History does not prevent teams from setting goals over 600 in tests. This is only for the second time India did, and the previous instance in 2009 ended with draw. While England’s Bazball era saw them chasing large sums, 608 is too far away – but not if the rain plays a spoil and saves them.
