US President Donald Trump again triggered controversy, this time by publishing a video generated by AI, showing that former President Barack Obama was arrested by FBI agents in an oval office.
The video shared on Trump’s social media platform in the social network begins with the clip of Obama, which says, “In particular, the president is above the law,” follows a haircut of prominent American politicians saying, “No one is above the law.” He then cuts on the scene generated by the AI that Obama was handcuffs in the oval office of FBI agents when Trump sits near and smiles.
The clip ends with a fictional scene of Obama in prison, dressed in an orange prison.
No renouncement of responsibility, growing concern
It attracts serious criticism that Trump has not exposed any exclusion of responsibility, suggesting that the video was created using artificial intelligence. Several critics killed this step as a “deeply irresponsible”, especially at a time when the disinformation is driven by the AI -generated content.
The controversial video comes only a few weeks after Trump accused Obama of involvement in “high -level election fraud”. The contribution seems to escalate Trump’s ongoing narrative that the key characters from the previous administration worked on the undercutting of its presidency.
Explosive accusations support political drama
The US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, who added fuel to the fire, recently said that he had “stunning” evidence that former Obama officials played a role in the alleged production of Trump-Russia Toussia Toundtion after elections in 2016.
In the paper on X, Gabbard wrote: “Americans will finally learn the truth about how the news service was politicized and armed in 2016 … Put the foundations for what was basically a flight coup against President Donald Trump.”
However, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has since issued a 114 -page report that faces these claims. The document notes that before the 2016 elections, the US intelligence community assessed that Russia “probably does not try to influence cyber products”. According to news briefings of 8 December 2016, he also stated that Russian activities did not affect the elections in 2016.
